Founders
Founded With Purpose, Built to Honor Service
Honor House: Amos and Mines Supportive Living was founded by Dr. Patrice A. Brown and Dr. Erika M. Campbell in honor of their fathers, J.C. Amos and Nate Mines, both proud U.S. veterans whose lives embodied service and resilience.
Their legacy inspired a mission to create a safe, supportive environment where veterans can rebuild stability, restore confidence, and move toward independent living with dignity.
Dr. Brown and Dr. Campbell are Licensed Occupational Therapists with more than 28 years of experience supporting individuals across schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and home health settings throughout the Washington, DC region. Their clinical expertise and compassionate approach shape the foundation of Honor House’s commitment to structure, support, and long-term well-being.
